Overall, I feel like I had a great January. I discovered new authors, had the privilege of reading a couple of ARCs, and found a few new obsessions.

I have to say I was most disappointed in Faebound, as you can see from my rating. You can read my review here to learn what I liked and didn't like about the book.

I'm actually quite surprised I'm so ahead of my goal already. I had set a goal of 10 books a month, thinking this was feasible based on how much I got read last year, and if this trend continues to hold, I have hit my 2024 reading goal by May.

Trying to pick a favorite book for this month was almost impossible. Between The Shepherd King duology, The Last Fintestra duology, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and Edgewood, I found so many new favorite books. I finally forced myself to choose and decided to go with This Vicious Grace. It's hard to justify why that one over the others, but I keep coming back to it more.
