Synopsis

After years spent isolated in a lonely castle with her cruel husband, Raiya will do anything to escape… even make a deal with a demon.

When Raiya’s husband imprisons a monster from the hells, she sees an opportunity to free herself and spite her husband at the same time.

It’s said that demons are immensely powerful, halfway between mortals and gods. If Raiya can use her knowledge of rune magic to break the demon’s binding, he might agree to protect her from her husband while they escape together. That is, if he doesn’t decide to kill and consume her, instead.

The demon only requires one thing in exchange—her body.

Demons live off the fear and lust of mortals, which means that she’ll have to find a way to sustain him during their journey.

There’s only one thing more terrifying than sleeping with a demon: falling in love with one.

Thoughts

From the moment I picked up "Demon Bound," I knew I was embarking on a spicy, intense journey. However, I was unprepared for the emotional depth that unfolded within its pages. The narrative gripped me from the very beginning and took me on a ride filled with unexpected turns and profound revelations.

One of the most striking aspects of the book was the character Azreth. His depth and innocence were incredibly touching and captivating. It was like watching a flower bloom in slow motion, as he evolved from a seemingly harsh, demonic figure to a character full of unexpected tenderness and warmth. As he began to experience and comprehend feelings for Raiya, I found myself cheering him on, hoping he would find the happiness he was just beginning to understand.

Raiya, on the other hand, was a pillar of strength. Her character development was something I greatly admired. Her resilience and determination were inspiring to watch, and her relationship with Azreth was a testament to her courage and open heart. Despite my admiration for Raiya, it was Azreth who truly stole the show. His transformation was the heart of the story, and it's a journey I'm unlikely to forget anytime soon.

The book brought a fresh and unique take on demon romance, one that was far from clichéd or predictable. Each moment was a new revelation, a new insight into a world so beautifully crafted that I couldn't help but get lost in it. The author's creativity shone through every page, and I found myself immersed in a world that was as thrilling as it was heartfelt.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of reading "Demon Bound," and it left me craving for more. I'm eager to explore more of this author's works set in the same universe, hoping to once again dive into a world filled with captivating characters and compelling stories. This book was a great discovery, and I can't wait to see where the author takes me next.
