Happy International Children’s Book Day!

I have loved reading my entire life. From the moment I learned how, I haven't stopped. Both of my parents are avid readers, and they definitely passed it on to all three of their children. In honor of International Children’s Book Day, I want to share with you some of my absolute favorite books that I read from elementary to middle school.
Have you read any of the books listed? What was the first book you ever remember reading?

But I was just such a girl, and my story is worth relating even if it did happen years ago. Be warned, however: If strong ideas and action offend you, read no more. Find another companion to share your idle hours. For my part I intend to tell the truth as I lived it.
